Welcome to the Coyote Linux home page. This page has recently been updated to a content management system (CMS) to allow for easier and less time consuming updates. I am no longer working on Coyote Linux on a regular basis, but wanted to make sure that the software was still available to the public.

Coyote Linux is a set of mini Linux distributions developed to provide basic firewall services for a small home or office network. It is available in both a single-floppy version and a more advanced version that installs to an IDE device such as a hard drive or compact flash module. Both versions are easily managed from a web based interface.

Many of you will question the switch to a Windows based platform for this web site. This choice was made due to the fact that the project I am working on full time these days requires me to have several Windows 2008 based web servers online. This new project is written entirely in C# and runs on Windows 2008/IIS7. Hence - the hardware and software available made the choice for me; I am simply making use of otherwise required resources.
